They lived in several places throughout the U.S. before settling in Eden Prairie, MN. Just out of high school, Teresa was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and for 30 years, she courageously fought the disease. Survivors include her mother: Sharon Jaenke of Eau Claire, WI; her father: Gordon (JoAnn) Jaenke of Holeman, WI; seven siblings: Christine (Christopher) Pruitt of Waupaca, WI, Sheila Grunewaldt of Eau Claire, WI, Jeffrey (Holly) Jaenke of Eau Claire, WI, Matthew (Janet Arney) Jaenke of Fridley, MN, Angela (Christopher Romes) Jaenke of Madison, WI, Kelly (Steve) Rosenthal of Benbrook, TX, and Kevin (Shelbie) Pedretti of Prior Lake, MN; her former husband: Kurt Linberg of Duluth, MN; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 beginning at 1:30 PM at the Metropolis Resort, Metro Room, 5150 Fairview Drive, Eau Claire. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM to be followed by food, fun, friendship and a time to share memories. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and will be donated in Teresa's name to the MS Achievement Center in Minneapolis, MN and the Teresa Jaenke Linberg Memorial at Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, WI. Because of severe family allergies, the family requests that all attendees do not wear perfume or scented lotions. Plombon's All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Service, Eau Claire, WI, is serving the family.

To Teresa's family, I have always missed her from her last day at MS Camp. As I am still a volunteer there, I will always remember that she became my friend. I was always stunned by her beauty and her humbleness, her friendship and her love that she so easily offered and her singing voice. We often sang "The Rose" together. I am sorry I was not able to attend her memorial with other volunteers but know that her picture reminds me of her friendship of a fellow soul who wanted only to help others. Blessings ~ Sonny
