Our hearts go out to the family at this difficult time. Vickie was a special lady. May the grace of God give you strength and peace.

Growing up we had Thanksgiving at Sonny and Marilyn's, Christmas Eve at aunt Sissy and uncle Neal's and Christmas Day at our house. I remember singing Christmas songs while Vickie played her guitar. Then she started dating Jon and brought him to the holiday dinners. I know we all couldn't wait until we were a little older so we could start bringing out girlfriend or boyfriend to Holiday dinners. I also was honored when Vickie and Jon asked me to be the altar server at their wedding! You are all in my thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Chuck

Vicki ALWAYS went through the halls of Sibley High School with a smile on her face and had an easy going disposition...when Neal and Carmella moved in across the street from me on Schletty Street-it was Vicki who would always wave and say "hi" when she saw me out in the yard doing things. From the Class of '74 and a former quasi neighbor-thank you for sharing her with the rest of us. God definately had a reason for calling her home at this time of the year-I may not agree with the decision, but then again, who am I to disagree with God. She will be missed-she will be missed.
Always, Chris (Olson) Johnson

The first time I addressed her as Mrs. Pleski, she balked. Hey, you're older than I am! I know I said...it's just that you remind me of my favorite teacher in gradeschool...kinda like Beaver Cleaver and Mrs. whats-her-name. She smiled each time I addressed her that way.
She was a great teacher. She showed me how to find what I needed in the office, she handled every task given her with aplomb and assurity. She made certain that communications were delivered...she ran the office...kept many matters out of the owners hands so they could do their jobs. I am certain, her home ran efficiently as well because when I needed to contact her husband, she made sure he got the message and called me to tell me so. She did this tirelessly each day and made it seem effortless, as if it were a joy. She loved people...yes, that must be it...she was grounded in being of service to others, coming from love and joy of serving.
