Stephen J. Mintz

OCALA, FL - Stephen J. Mintz, age 65, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on November 30, 2012. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on October 24, 1947 and was married to Deborah Mintz for 31 years.

He is survived by his children, Jamie Parrish, James Mintz and Trevor Mintz, and grandchildren, Ben, Emily, Kaitlynn and Danielle.

Stephen is the brother of Pat, Laurie and Mary Mintz and Uncle to Kalie and Christian Foster. He is preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Gertrude Mintz

He worked as a Service Technician at IBM for 25 years and then as Field Service Engineer for 10 Years, in his "retirement". He enjoyed movies, sports, traveling and playing tennis.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5th at Roberts Funeral home, 19939 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Dunnellon, Florida 34432. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery. Condolences may be left a www.robertsofdunnellon.com.

Family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
