Violet Hughes Obituary

Hughes, Violet Mae Age 75, of White Bear Lake Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother Went home to be with our Lord Saturday, June 6 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rex Struble. Survived by her husband of 55 years, James; daughters, Cindy Faye, Brenda (Alex) Swearingen and son, David; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; brother, Roy (Melba) Struble; sister, Fern Pfaff; nieces, nephews and friends. Services 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 11 at BRADSHAW 4600 Greenhaven Drive at Highway 96 (one mile W. of 35E), White Bear. Visitation 5-8 PM, Wednesday, June 10 and one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. 4600 Greenhaven Drive, White Bear 651-407-8300

Jim and Family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of Vi. I have thought about Jim, Vi, and your family often over the years since I worked at your store. Vi made great lunches for us on the Thursday stock days. She knew I didn't like tuna and always made a special sandwich for me. She was nice like that. I have many great memories of the years I worked there and knew her.
