Walburga Loegering Obituary

"Wally" (Waxweiler) Age 90 of Big Lake Passed away on November 27, 2011. She is survived by her daughters Marlys (Tom) Hipsag, Karen (Doug) McCormick, Darlene Broker (Max Gessell), Elaine (Bruce) Bork; sons Charles (Arnita), Michael, Dan (Mary), Roger (Sue), and Kevin (Valerie) Loegering; sister Frances Zajac; sisters-in-law Frances Waxweiler, Mary Lofquist, Delores Loegering, Gladys Loegering; brother-in-law Bernard Loegering; 32 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Walburga was preceded in death by her husband, Valentine "Val"; parents Helen and Mathias Waxweiler; brother James; and grandchildren Jacob Hipsag and Aaron Garland. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday December 2, 2011 at 12 Noon at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 440 North Lake Street, Big Lake. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday December 1, 2011 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. There will be a Prayer Service at 7 PM Thursday. Further visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (http://csjministriesfoundation.org) or to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org). Grandma, You will be missed. I am happy you are at peace in hevean with Grandpa. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of my family...I love you all! I hope you can find the peace that grandma has now.
