Wayne DOSSER Obituary

November 1, 1938 — October 12, 2023 Wayne passed away after a courageous battle with dementia and lung cancer. He was a proud East Sider who graduated from Johnson High School. Wayne joined the Marines after graduation. Upon returning home he married his high school sweetheart Jone Ringold. They were married for 64 years. Wayne worked for the Pioneer Press as a circulation manager for 35 plus years. Wayne loved to travel, golf, read and spend time at the cabin. After retirement, he and Jone spent time in Green Valley, AZ during the winter and summer at the cabin. Wayne is survived by his wife, Jone; daughter, Sue (Charlie) Butter; sons, Doug (Laura) Dosser, Steve (Sally) Dosser; grandchildren, Ben, Josh, Andy, Mitch (Tori), Marc, Madeline, Hayden; and 2 great grandchildren, Jed and Nourie. A huge thank you to Our Lady of Peace and Cerenity Care facility for the care and compassion they gave Wayne. Memorial Mass 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at CHURCH OF ST. PATRICK, 3535 East 72nd Street, Inver Grove Heights. Family will greet friends Tuesday 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Church. Luncheon following Mass. Private Inurnment. Memorials preferred to donor's choice or Our Lady of Peace Hospice.
