William MULLIN Obituary

lit up every room he entered. In a recent tribute, friends and colleagues described Eddie as "genuine," "hilarious," "optimistic," and "stupendous." Eddie died peacefully in his home on March 16, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Eddie was born on April 15, 1983. Eddie attended De La Salle High School and earned his BA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he was an avid Badgers fan and a good friend to many. In 2008, Eddie joined Oracle and was promoted to Regional Manager in 2012. Eddie was widely respected by his Oracle colleagues for being a star salesman. Recently, Oracle announced that the "Eddie Mullin Lifetime Achievement Award" will be awarded annually to an Oracle employee that exemplifies Eddie's work-ethic, commitment to the team, and selflessness. The recipient of the Eddie Mullin award will receive a clock which bears the following quote by Steve Jobs: "My favorite things in life do not cost any money. It's really clear that the most precious resource we all have is time." Eddie's zest for life was infectious and he made everyone around him happy. Eddie was especially known for his sense of humor and signature dance moves, which he showcased at many weddings. A survivor by nature, Eddie battled cancer three times during his short life--each time with courage and grace. Though it tried, cancer could never tamp down Eddie's love of life. Eddie triumphed over cancer in the way he lived his life every day - ever-positive, big-hearted, generous and thoughtful towards the many people that cared for him. Eddie was a much-loved son, brother, favorite uncle, husband, and friend. He is survived by his devoted parents, William and Chouhei Mullin, sister Elizabeth Mullin (John Fedele), niece, Zoey, nephews, Mason and Henry, loving bride Mary Guth Mullin, whom he married shortly before he died, as well as many loving cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents Mary and Edward Mullin and Bok Shil and Kyung Am Min and cherished cousin and friend, Ted Mullin. Visitation Thursday, March 19, 5-8p.m., Washburn McReavy, 2301 Dupont Avenue, S., Mpls; Mass of Christian Burial, Friday March 20, at 11 AM with visitation at 10AM at the Basilica of St. Mary, Hennepin Ave at 17th St, Mpls followed by Interment at Cemetery Mendota Heights.
