Zoraida Burgos

TRENTON - Zoraida Burgos, 50, of Trenton passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at St Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in West Chester, Pa., Ms. Burgos was a longtime area resident and a graduate of Steinert High School, Hamilton. She was formerly employed by Dow Jones, Princeton and was known as the only Female Disc Jockey named "Lady Pegasus" in the early '80s and '90s. She was a parishioner of St Mary's Cathedral, Trenton.
Ms Burgos was predeceased by her dear parents Bonifacio Ortiz and Angelina Vazquez Ortiz and also by her late spouse Silfredo Burgos.
Left to cherish her fine memory are her loving children and siblings, daughter Bonnibel Burgos and her son Alejandro Burgos; brothers Orlando Ortiz and Emiliano Vazquez Jr.; sisters Elizabeth Ortiz-Colon, Angelita Flores, Emilia Vazquez and stepsister Rosita Vazquez; brothers-in-law Luis Enrique Flores and Miguel A. Colon Jr.; sister-in-law Jennifer Vazquez; nieces Crystal Rivera, Christina Rivera; nephew Luis Angel Flores; great nieces Angelina Maria Santiago and Amarielis Santiago; stepfather Emiliano Vazquez Sr. and his wife Maria Vazquez; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Funeral Services 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at The Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 South Broad St., South Trenton, N.J. 08611. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton 08619. Visiting hours Friday 9 to 11 a.m. at the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home. (Parking facility and handicap access located directly behind funeral home.)
