DALE ALFRED "CHUM" GILES Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, grandpa and great-grandpa, Dale Alfred "Chum" Giles, age 73 of Tabiona, passed away on November 14, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born on February 1, 1951, to Ralph M. and Jolene Josie Giles. He was raised on the farm in Tabiona with his two brothers LaVon and Hal and two sisters Carolyn and Jan. He was taught to work at a young age and has always been a hardworker. He met and married Lenna Mae Young August 6, 1971. They made their homein Tabiona. They were blessed with five wonderful sons Justin, Cody, Casey, Austin, and Cole. Always early to rise and early to bed, he enjoyed his coffee by the fire. He enjoyed working with his boys on the farm spending many hours. He taught them the values of quality work on the farm. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when the work was done. These memories will be remembered and shared for generations. He was an amazing athlete and many enjoyed watching him with his natural abilities. He carried those traits on to his boys and grandkids. Dale enjoyed watching his boys play in their high school years. Current Creek always had a special place in his heart. He worked alongside his dad, brothers, and sons running numerous cattle permits in surrounding areas. He learned to fly fish on the Strawberry River from his grandma, Grace. A majority of his career was spent working in the oil field. He mastered many positions in the field until he retired. He is survived by his wife, Lenna Mae Giles; their five sons, Justin (Shay), Cody (Stacy), Casey (Diana), Austin (Eliza), Cole (Mary Lou); 17 grandkids, and 1 greatgranddaughter; his two brothers, LaVon, Hal (Terri) Giles; two sisters, Carolyn (Voy), and Jan (Ervan) Rhoades. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and sister-in-law, Diane Miles Giles. The family would like to thank the nurses and home healthcare that cared for him and some even up to his last hours, Randy, Ashley, Harlee, Liz and Nadiene.
