Wayne Rasband Obituary

Wane Lewis Rasband, age 82, of Roosevelt, passed away June 22, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born June 11, 1929, in Heber, to Don Alfred and Cleo Smith Rasband. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Daryle Siddoway and they later divorced.
Wayne loved farming, and that's all he did except for being an automobile mechanic. He enjoyed horseback riding. He was a great dad and did a great job raising his kids.
He is survived by his son, Lewis A. Rasband, Roosevelt; daughter, Nita McCurry, Ogden; grandchildren, Codie and Kelly Larsen; Bunnie Clifford; great-grandchildren, Chynna Clifford, Channing and Sabre Williams, Faith Young, Jade Larsen and one on the way. He is also survived by his siblings, Elden (Doris) Rasband, Salt Lake City; Ila (Bill) Litz, Tremonton; Abe Rasband and Donna (Don) New, both of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Jamie Larsen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tues., June 28 at the LaPoint LDS Chapel. Family and friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park with military honors provided by American Legion Post 64 and the Utah Honor Guard. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com

I haven't seen him in years. I worked and my dad's service station on First South and Main in Heber, and Wayne would come in with Lewis and Anita to gas up his truck. I remember him well from those days.
