Darryl Walker

Darryl Richmond
Walker was 82. He passed away on
August 24, 2021. He was surrounded by his family. Darryl was born in Oakland, California on May 24, 1939 to John and Adaline Walker. He graduated from San Lorenzo High in 1957. He served in the National Guard for 2 years and was in the #149 Regiment.
Darryl married Claudia Gail Ferrara on July 4, 1958. They celebrated 63 years of marriage. Darryl worked and taught appliance repair for over 60 years. He enjoyed helping and servicing the Mendocino Valley as owner of Walker's Appliance Repair. He was known as the man that could fix anything!!
Darryl was a gentle giant. His loving and generous nature was known to all who knew him. He was a loving husband, caring father, amazing grandparent and great grandparent. He is survived by his Brother Robert, John and Jan Walker. His wife Gail and his children Laura, Debra, Steven, Shelly and Terry. His Grandchildren Nicole and Joe
San Diego, Collin, Kylie and Hayley Phenicie, Tracy Fowler and Andrew Walker. His 11 great grandchildren, Kailub, Aiyana,
Shyrah, Tre, Katelyn, Kaleyah and Deja Lou San Diego.
Cael and Cord Phenicie and Amelia and
Olivia Fowler. Nieces and Nephews Diana Preston, David Basey, Dana Fromberger, John Cecchini, Mary Christensen, Jenna and Jordan Walker.
Special blessings and thanks to the amazing staff at Redwood Cove and Adventist Hospital whose loving care and expertise watched over Darryl these past several months.
