George S. McCown Jr.

George S. McCown Jr. born march 3, 1934 in Dumas, Arkansas passed away July 2, 2014 at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his wife Lean L. McCown. George was a hard worker who also served 6 years in the military. He could always be found in the local casino scene, making conversations and playing. George was big hearted and kind, always willing to help people out. He was constantly doing favors & work for various local businesses and friends. George loved his family, he loved spending time with his great grandchildren who meant the world to him, Arden Duke, Jelissa Ram, Marissa Ram, Anessa Ram and also his granddaughter Melissa Ram and grandson-in-law John Ram. He had there children Connie McCown of Lake County, Mickey McCown of Sacramento, James Huey & daughter-in-law Jeri Huey of Vacaville and various grandchildren including Brandon McCown and Kyler McCown. George had many friends and family in Ukiah. He will be unbelievably missed, may he rest in peace with his wife now. We all loved George and he will be in our hearts & prayers forever. Arrangements are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary.
