Pat Partridge Obituary

Pat (Edna) Partridge, age 79, joined the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2007 after a short, brave illness. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Pat grew up in Valley Stream, NY and lived in Merrick, Long Island for many years before moving to Willits in 1991 where she died surrounded by many friends and family. Pat was very active in the Lutheran church and did much volunteer work with the Willits Library and Curves where she inspired others with her dedication to good health. Pat drove many to stores, doctors and hospitals; she visited nursing homes and helped whomever needed her. At the end, neighbors and friends were with her joyfully as she had been such a good neighbor and friend. An animal lover all her life, she leaves her beloved puppy Buddy and Happy the canary.

Pat is survived by a brother Donald Partridge and his wife Joan of New Jersey, several nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren in New Jersey, 4 cousins James Jennings, Joan Jennings, Mary Beth Kresnicka and Robert Mangelsdorf. Pat is also survived by her Godchild Denice and husband John Coffey of Sonoma and her good, close friend Johnnieann Johnstone who helped Kurt Ackermann immensely to coordinate Pat's services and Ann Stebbins a good friend and neighbor. She was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn and mother Erika Partridge.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Faith Lutheran Church in Ukiah on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. and a Graveside Service will follow at 11:30 at the Little Lake Cemetery in Willits.
