Rosa Hise
SPARTANBURG — Mrs. Rosa Lee Seymore Hise, 96, formerly of Spring St., Buffalo, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at Magnolia Place in Spartanburg.
Mrs. Hise was born November 9, 1920 in Whitmire, SC, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Seymore and Bernice Louise Willard Seymore. She was retired from Lily Tulip Manufacturing. Mrs. Hise was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and Buffalo Senior Citizens.
Surviving are a daughter, EileenKay Schaufler and husband Joseph of Charlotte, NC; three granddaughters, Vikki Ireland of Hudson, NH, Kim Hanrahan of Howell, NJ, and Kristy Parcejus of Apoka, FL; four grandsons, Gunner Isaksen of Alpharetta, GA, Troy Isaksen of Cranford, NJ, Lance Isaksen of Nashua, NH, and Kyle Isaksen of Hampton, GA; twenty great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Sarah Roberts of Columbia, Sandra Seymore of Union, and Clyde Seymore of Union.
She was predeceased by one sister, Hattie Mae Moss; and two brothers, Robert Seymore and Clyde Seymore.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
