FRANK HARRISON DEXTER

1950 - 2023

With heavy hearts we would like to share that on Sunday, May 14, 2023, we lost our fun loving Frank to a heart attack. He was born to Frank and Helen Dexter on Aug. 30, 1950, in Gilroy, California. Worked most of his life as a truck driver, even bartended sometime in the late '80s in his spare time at the Cow Track in Oakdale, California, because he was just that fun! He never took himself too seriously, could brighten anyone's day with his smile and contagious laugh. He always found his way to a good celebration. Everyone was welcome at his table.
Frank is survived by his significant other, Vicki Prouty; his daughters, Kathy Dexter (partner Stacy Lewis) and Melissa (Dennis) Welch; his grandchildren, Ryan Miller (Bo Miller), Tyler and Brette Elwell, Regan and Avery Riddle, Bree Welch, D. Welch and Bo Welch; three great- grandchildren, extended family and many many friends.
Frank was preceded in death by both his parents, his brother, Bruce Dexter, and his daughter Misti Dexter.
Frank will be missed terribly. We ask in his memory to share a great story about him, have a beer, toast to him in heaven and may his memory live on forever!
