Gary Wright Obituary
Born in Modesto, Gary spent the past 35 years in Sonora and practiced dermatology since arriving in Tuolumne county in the early 1980s. He was a healer, an artist, a musician, a conservative Patriot, a first-class horseman, a father, a brother and friend to all who knew him.
Gary is survived by his children, Joseph Laman Wright, of Turlock, Jason Wayne Wright, of Modesto, Joshua Gordon Wright, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Adam William Avilla-Wright, of Redwood City; grandchildren Emma Wright, William Wright and Wyatt Wright, all of Oakdale, Austin Wright, Haylee Wright and Rylee Wright, all of Modesto, Joshua Gordon Wright Jr., of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Enzo Avilla-Ventura, of Redwood City; and his brother, Lane Wright, of Boise, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Corgait, of Modesto; father, Lamon Wright, of Modesto; and brother, Kent Wright, of Lake Forest.
There will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, at Carter's Cemetery, 19042 Cemetery Lane in Tuolumne.
