KEVIN DILLS Obituary
Many Sonora California residents may remember Kevin from his 27 years of service to the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office. Late in his career as a deputy sheriff, Kevin was assigned as court bailiff and was a well-known fixture in the courtroom. He began his employment for the county in 1996.
Kevin enjoyed fishing and hunting throughout his life, taking friends to out-of-the way places in the Trinity Mountains and to ranches and game refuges. Kevin's favorite spot was Ramshorn Mountain in Northern California.
Always one to lend a helping hand, Kevin was a good neighbor and respected as part of the community. A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Junction City Community Hall, 71 Dutch Creek Road, Junction City, Trinity County.

Kevin was a great family friend to the (Fulton Family). I remember him as a kind , caring and a funny man. Some of his stories would absolutely crack me up. I'm sorry for your loss, Kevin will be greatly missed..

This is such sad news. I worked with Kevin during my years at the court. He was the kindest and most helpful man. He was fun to talk to and very protective of his courtroom. He was a friend outside of work and we enjoyed his company. I am so sorry for the family's loss and sending my deepest condolences. Just know he was an awesome guy.
