Alice T. Asadourian

Alice T. Asadourian, 93, of Bedford, died June 30, 2025, at Granite VNA of Concord, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Khartoum,Sudan on June 19, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Nishan Turpanjian and Zarouhi (Alianak) Turpanjian. She was educated in Sudan and worked as a bathing suit designer in New York, Washington and Los Angeles, CA for Rose Marie Reid Vintage Swimsuits, which had an influence in Hollywood and the motion picture industry. Famous screen actresses, including Rita Hayworth, Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, and Rhonda Fleming wore the Vintage Swimsuits. The swimsuits also appeared in several California beach party films from the late 1950s and the early 1960s, including Gidget, Muscle Beach Party, and Where the Boys Are. Alice later worked with her late husband, Dr. Ralph R. Asadourian, DDS, in his dental office, and raised her family. In her later years, she became a licensed real estate agent.

Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, including swimming at the beach or sailing on the lake She also loved flower gardening and oil painting.

Alice was one of the sweetest people you had ever met. Everyone she met would agree. Above all else, Alice will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Alice was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Dr. Ralph R. Asadourian in April, 2024.

Surviving family members include her son, Dr. Mark A. Asadourian and wife Donna of Bedford and their children, Nicholas and Julia Asadourian. She was also predeceased by both parents, brother, Mike Alianak and sister, Mary Asbedian.
