Anneliese Yiengst Obituary

MANCHESTER - Anneliese Yiengst, 84, died Jan. 17, 29011, at Villa Crest, Inc., in Manchester.

She was born in Munich, Germany, Feb. 22, 1926, to Emil and Luise (Schwaiger) Bruckner.

She received her certificate of naturalization in 1955. She was a resident of Merrimack for 40 years. Most recently she resided in Bedford and Manchester.

During the war, she was employed in several states as a switchboard operator. She later worked for 13 years at St. Anselm College where she was a German conversation teacher.

She was a member of the German American Club, and the World War II War Brides Organization. She enjoyed drawing and painting with water colors, along with reading and writing and had published several works in German.

Family members include her husband, George E. Yiengst, of Manchester, and several cousins in the United States and in Europe.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours or services. Burial will take place at a later date in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen.
