OSSIPEE -- Barbara (Murray) Sansone, 71, of Chickville Road, died Dec. 28, 2008, at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on July 13, 1937, to Charles and Barbara (Sheehan) Murray and had lived in Belmont, Mass., for many year. She graduated from Belmont High School.
Mrs. Sansone worked as a tax examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 20 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, George F. Sansone.
Family includes daughters Julie Draper of Eliot, Maine, Amy Anderson of Ossipee, and Laurie Ferguson of Barrington; son Jeffrey Sansone of Eliot; sisters Marilyn O'Laughlin, of North Brunswick, N.J., Danielle Duffy, of York Beach, Maine, Candace Crupi, of Sandwich, Mass.; and Pamela LaPierrie, of Auburn; brother Robert Sansone of Plymouth, Mass.; 10 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A celebration of her life will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the South Church Unitarian Universalist, 292 State St., Portsmouth. Lord Funeral home, Center Ossipee, is handling arrangements.
