Bertha Mudge Obituary

MANCHESTER -- Bertha E. Mudge, 91, died July 26, 2009, at a local health care center.

She was born Oct. 10, 1917, in Manchester, to Clarence and Attie (Carson) Chancey and had been a lifelong resident of this community.

She very much enjoyed sewing and time spent with family.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Raymond F. Mudge.

Family includes a son, Alan R. Mudge of Manchester; a daughter, Paula A. Earnshaw of Manchester; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of family. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of one's choice.

Cate & Johnson Funeral Service of Manchester is directing arrangements.
