Bradford Q. Smith

1943 - 2022

Bradford Q. Smith, 79, of Deerfield, NH, died Wednesday July 27, 2022, in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH surrounded by his family. He was born in Nashua, NH on July 17, 1943, a son of the late Bushrod and Gertrude (Cousins) Smith. He had been a resident of Deerfield for the past two years, formerly living in Meredith NH, and Londonderry, NH for fifty-four years. Brad was the owner and operator of Superior Welding. He enjoyed working on his tractors, and spending time with his family. As the husband of Winnie, he was integral in the "behind the scenes" of Winnie's Kindergarten in Londonderry.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Winnie "Stock" Smith of Deerfield; his son, Bradford N. Smith, and his partner Ann Lawrence of Deerfield; his daughter, Lori E. Costa and her husband Richard of Londonderry; his grandchildren, Lori Costa, Jr., Emily Costa, and Olivia Smith; as well as Olivia's mother, Denise Smith of Epping, NH.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd from 4 - 6:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Mask usage is at the discretion of the attendee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andre Bessette Laconia, and or Tunnels to Towers.
