Charles Setaro Obituary
He was born in Danbury, CT on April 24, 1932, a son of Agnes and Peter Setaro.
Mr. Setaro resided in Milford, NH and raised his family in Stamford, CT. He was a graduate of Danbury State Teachers College having earned a degree in elementary education and a master's degree from Fairfield University.
He was a dedicated teacher at Newfield Elementary School for 30 years and taught adult education in the evenings.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 50 years, Joan Setaro.
Family members include two sons, Charles A. Setaro (Anne Marie) of Greenfield, NH, and Peter Setaro (Donna) of Milford, NH; a daughter, Suzanne Mallozzi (Mark) of Stamford, CT; and his four grandchildren, Arthur, Christine, Caitlin, and Michelle.
A visiting hour will be held on Wednesday, March 6th from 10:00-11:00am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, followed by funeral services at 11:00am. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
