Constance Ryan Obituary

Constance Pothier Ryan, 86, passed away peacefully on 7/12/25 in Ft. Myers, Florida. Connie was born in Manchester, NH on 6/11/39. She was the daughter of Thomas H. Brisson and Florence Simard Brisson. She was a resident of Bedford, NH for 35 years and moved to sunny Ft. Myers, Florida for her remaining years.

Connie graduated from the Villa Augastina in 1957. She worked for the State of New HampshireÅ› highway department and the Manchester Detention Center (YDC). Connie also had a successful craft business that brought her to craft shows throughout New England. She enjoyed traveling in her RV, playing cards, puzzles, sewing, cooking, baking, hosting gatherings and spending time with her family.

Connie was predeceased by her daughter Susan Larochelle and her great grandson Austin Vanasse. She is survived by her husband Ronald Ryan, her brother Ronald Brisson, sister-in-law Helen Brisson, her children Diane Lafrance (Raymond), Michael Pothier (Sharie),

Joanne Provencher (Richard) and Lin Pothier Pare'. She has 16 Grandchildren, 32 Great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Connie cherished all her family including cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Her journey on this earth was marked by her compassion and love. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and all those people whose lives were touched by her. Connie will be remembered for her beautiful smile, happy heart, kindness and devoted love for Jesus.

At the request of Connie and family, services are private. There will be a mass in Ft. Myers, Florida.
