Cornelius S. Porter

Cornelius "Vessy" S. Porter, 54, died on July 18, 2016 at his home in Raymond. He was born on March 16, 1962 in Exeter, NH, the son of the late James E. and Edith (Smart) Porter.

A longtime resident of Raymond, Vessy grew up in Epping, NH and was a graduate of Epping High School. He was formerly employed as a concrete worker for Rila Precast Concrete Products in Brentwood, NH and for Robinson Construction Concrete in Epping.

Vessy was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast who loved to ride. He was also a member of the "Outlaws" motorcycle group. He also liked wheeling, dealing and bartering for things. Most of all, everything in his world revolved around his beloved twin daughters, Sophie and Chloie Porter.

In addition to his twin daughters, Vessy is survived by his brother James G. Porter of Epping, NH and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his wife Judith R. Porter who died in 2008, and two brothers, Ronald L. Porter and Rickey Porter Sr.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10 AM at Prospect Cemetery, located on Rte. 27, in Epping, NH. Brewitt Funeral Service, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH is handling the arrangements.

Flowers are acceptable or future donations may be to a trust fund for Vessy's children which will be established at the Peoples United Bank, 55 Main St. Raymond, NH at a later date.
