Mr. Fitz was my first baseball coach that I had when I played for Harris Sporting Goods for the West Little League. He was a great man and worked very hard for the kids and youth sports. We were city champions in 1982 which I know he was very proud of us and that accomplishment. He loved all his children and his wife-Blondie very much. Rest in peace Mr. Fitz and we will all be seeing you on the baseball field one day.

To all of Dan's family and friends I am offering my condolences. I knew Dan from childhood we were neighbors playing ball in the alley of Rimmon and Dubuque streets to being students at Bishop Bradley HS. Beyond that Dan and Blondie were part of me and my wife's wedding in 1961. After we were married, we got an apartment next door to Blondie's home. We spent many years hanging out at The Recreation Spa and double dating etc.
RIP DEAR FRIEND

Uncle Dan was a wonderful man for many reasons. We loved to listen to him tell a story and that laugh!
He cared so deeply for those he loved. We went to a Red Sox game and Dave said he knew an easy way to get there. Aunt Blonde was driving and we got stuck in a traffic jam and Uncle Dan kept asking Aunt Blonde if she was ok driving. She said David I thought this was supposed to be the easy way!!! Dave loved them growing up and I loved them when I joined the family.
Rest in Peace Uncle Dan and I am sure Aunt Blondie will be so happy to see you.
