May we treasure your memory for as many years as your years of life and service to those around you. 103 years is a life well-lived. Rest in peace with other scouters.

Find comfort in the knowledge that while peace has come to Judge Fleetham, he lives on in the hearts and memories of those whose lives he touched.
Rest in Peace. Your labor is complete.
Sincerely,

Daniel Fleetham, Sr. was an inspiration and wonderful student of history and the life of Norwich University. He and his son were strong supporters of the Sullivan Museum at Norwich, and shared many, many wonderful stories with us. We have appreciated all of his contributions over the years. Our condolences and best wishes to the family during this time.

I first met Dan when I was a teenager back in the summer of 1945 working for his parents at The Cobb House on Canaan Street. On one occasion, he had come home on leave from the service, and being a 12 year old child, I hero worshipped him and was flattered when he would pay attention to me by engaging in friendly wrestling matches with a giggling kid on the side lawn of the inn. I had very fond memories of the man.

I first met Dan in the summer of 1945 when I was a teenager working for his parents who owned The Cobb House, an inn on Canaan Street. Dan, who had been in the service, on one occasion, came home on leave. As a 12 year old kid, I hero worshipped this veteran of the wars who took the time to pay attention to me and fool around by engaging in friendly wrestling matches on the side lawn with a giggling kid who was flattered by all of this recognition. I have fond memories of this man's kindness and empathy for others.

My condolences to the Fleetham family. I first met Dan at Belknap College in Center Harbor where I worked and he was in charge of buildings and Grounds as well as being a house parent, with his wife Betty, for Coe House. We later became "neighbors" on the same road. We were both involved in scouting and attended many of the same meetings.

My condolences to the Fleetham family. I remember Dan from Belknap College In Center Harbor where I worked and Dan and Betty were house parents at Coe House and Dan was in charge of Buildings and Grounds. I remember being neighbors in Center Harbor and attending many of the same scout functions with him. He lived a long life may he have eternal rest with friends and family with the Lord.

As a child of about six years, I went with my dad, George Sullivan (h.s. principal at the time) to Dan's house on Canaan Lake to pick up our first television (second one in town; Dan had the first). I remember him well and how highly my dad spoke of him. Many are my memories of living in Canaan--all good. Dan was a man who left a legacy.
