Donald was the most spiritual person that I've ever met. He dedicated his life caring for people and preaching the word of the Lord. He changed many lives. May he rest in peace.

I just want to say I am so happy that Donald came into my life. Donald was one of a kind. I hired Donald to clean my office and he was great never saw a worn down stainless steel sick look like it was brand new, that was Donald! Donald also was a caring man, he listened and cared so much! Although he never liked me because I always gave him sweets, I know down deep he loved them. When I found out he was in the hospital this last time I called him and said how are you and he said I am dying, I didn't believe him because we talked like he was healthy not going through anything. Then I found out he was in hospice, well we talked several times and Donald as usual said to me how are you? I couldn't believe it and still can't we talked and his positive attitude you would never think he was terminally ill. He said to me Donna I can do more for you when I am dead than when I am alive, I started crying through a few of our talks and he said don't it makes me sad He was such a positive man and I thank god he came into my life. I am truly going to miss him.

I saw Donald on the eve of his last day. He was as gentle and as welcoming as I knew him at the Rivier Community Prayer Group.

He told me that he was going home; and he did.

Donald always shared his love, kindness, compassion, and most importantly, faith to me and my family. He showed up in support on many special occasions in my life growing up. I love him like an uncle and I will always remember him, as Uncle Donald, in my prayers.

Dear Colette, Henry, Rene and the entire family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that nobody could ever fill Donald's shoes. He had an uncommonly gentle, kind and loving nature that was a pleasure to be around. Donald also brought a joyful, lively and sincere faith in our Lord, that was truely an inspiration to his friends at the Kingdom Seekers. We will surely miss him. He will be remembered as my dear chum whom I shared many spiritually deep conversations and tons of laughter with.

May you be comforted in your time of grief.

Donald was a constant witness of the Love and Joy of Jesus Christ. For over 30 years, I was blessed to consider him as a brother in Christ who showed us how to live with Jesus and how to die with Jesus.
Eternal rest grant unto Donald, O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon Donald. May Donald's soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen!

Wishing condolences to the Comtois family. Donald was a lifetime friend of my family. He was always nice to everyone, going out of his way to spend time with my sick mother. I will remember him for always enjoying a good laugh or joke. He was a good family man and a good Christian. He will be missed.
