Donald Morris

Donald "Deke"Morris, 79, of Goffstown, NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at his home.

Born on May 22, 1946, in Asheboro, NC, Donald was the beloved son of Donald Willard Morris and Opal Drue Morris. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Stuart Morris.

He served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He supported joint Army-Air Force operations as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Repairman and remained deeply proud of his service throughout his life.

Donald was a dedicated father to five children: Jennifer Jones, Bridget VonMarkgraf, Erin Morris, Kathy Curran, and Liam Morris. He was also a proud grandfather to Payton, Brady Michael, and Keeley Jones; Max and Zoe VonMarkgraf, and Henry, Bentley, and Noah Curran.

Known for his generosity and kindness, Donald was always available to help his children, grandchildren, and anyone in need. His love and care extended beyond family, touching many lives of all those around him.

Above all, Donald will be remembered as a loving father, a devoted grandfather, and a loyal friend. His warmth, strength, and enduring optimism were gifts to all who knew him. His family is forever grateful for the life he lived and the love he gave.

Services will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Manchester NH on August 29th at 10:00 am.
