Donald Scarlett Obituary
Donald was raised in Manchester, and as a young man served in the United States Army. Don loved cars and had a long career as a mechanic, most notably at Volkswagen and later with the NH Department of Safety for over 20 years. Don will be remembered for his sense of humor and willingness to help.
Donald is survived by his wife, Barbara Scarlett of Epsom; his children, Jeffrey Scarlett of Manchester, Daniel Scarlett and wife Jessica of Sandown, Michael Scarlett of Epsom, and Julie Scarlett of Epsom; his grandchildren and great grandchild; his siblings, Robert Scarlett and wife Irene of Goffstown, Susan Brodeur and husband Paul of Arizona, and Leon Scarlett and wife Paulette of Epsom; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Donald's visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11th from 10am-12pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester.

Barb and kids. Don was always always there when we (Commissioners office) called over and needed anything cruiser related. Don even stayed late on his personal time when he saw I had a flat on on my personal car. Always willing to give a helping hand. He was great at his job, and will be missed by all.

Don was a true gentleman and offered his professional opinion on all motor vehicle related matters. He was a joy to be around at the Department of Safety. Long after his retirement he was missed by all who knew. To his family, may all the wonderful memories of him from the past be a source of healing for you now.

I remember so often calling State Police Automotive and hearing his voice answer, "Don, Automotive". He was a great guy, and I am so happy that I knew him. R.I.P. Don.
