I met Doris as I ran past her on Bridge Falls Path. I finally stopped and said, I think we should know each others names, as we see each other every day!! So glad that we made that first contact, as she has been a dear friend for several years. I was happy to find out that she was also a member of FCCW, but saddened when she told me of her illness. She was a very strong lady, and after moving to VT two years ago, by the grace of God- I would see Doris on my rare visits! Always a smile and a hug from her, asking how I was and always saying how well she was doing! I just read in the paper, as we get it two weeks later here- and wanted to offer my condolences to her family. She was a lovely soul and I'll remember her always!

Doris was a great lady. I met her while working as a waitress. She was certainly more than a customer, a friend. She will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to the family and friends she left behind.

I met Doris when I went to work at Parsons and we hit it off immediately. We were both single, had owned Shelties and enjoyed a glass of wine. We had some great times together. She will live in my thoughts and prayers forever. I will miss you Doris.

i first met Doris at the gym 4 years ago and when she came in to work out we would share stories about our dogs, and just life in general. She was an inspiration, a wonderful wonderful lady. Always had a smile and such a positive attitude! -
