We can only imagine how difficult this period has been for you all. There will never be another Uncle Dort. Can't even begin to put in words everything he did for me. Please accept our most sincere and heartfelt condolences.

Dort Bigg and I grew up in the Law together and shared a friendly, and respectful, but fierce rivalry. He was an excellent trial lawyer and a dear friend. He was, as they say in our trade sui generous. He will be sorely missed. Deepest sympathy and good wishes to his gracious and loving wife, Meddy, his children, and grandchildren.

As a young reporter that covered the courts, I was immediately impressed with Mr. Bigg's presence, mastery and control. He brought dignity to the profession (I'm just glad that I never had to go against him).
Dort made an impression.
On the surface, he visaged distance from the fourth estate...but I suspect he had the deepest respect consistent with his honor for our Constitution.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

My teacher, and my mentor. There will never be another like Dort. It was my honor to have learned at the feet of the master.

You lived your life to the fullest Mr. Bigg and shared your joy and passion with others, whether that passion was the law or hunting, etc. It was an honor to work at Wiggin & Nourie while you were there. You had the coolest office with all your hunting treasures. God keep you in the palm of His hand.

Dort Bigg- appropriately named. Bigger than life. Great man, great lawyer, great outdoorsman, loving husband to Meredith and his children. My life has been enhanced because I knew Dort. Condolences and sympathy to Meredith and his family.

As a young lawyer many years ago, I had the humbling experience of having Dort on the other side of a case. He was a force of nature and left my case in tatters. He nevertheless dealt with me with respect and kindness. I aspired to be as good a lawyer as he, but even more so the man.

Dort was an inspiration to me and many other young lawyers. His dynamic personality will be missed, but remembered. My best to Pat the rest of the family.
