My most sincere condolences to Belinda and family. I am sorry I could not attend services because I am traveling visiting family. Eddie worked with me providing specialized transportation in the greater Manchester area for over 30 years. He was dedicated to the people he served and such a kind and gentle man. His work ethic was second to none and he always took a minute to smile or ask how your day was going. He was a loving husband and father and always did his best to make his riders feel valued while providing important access to important services to help maintain their independence. I will always remember him fondly and with respect. RIP my friend.

I've sat on this since I first saw Eddie's obituary posted. First out of sadness followed by struggling to find the right words worthy of one so deserving. And now Eddie's funeral has even taken place...and my words are still hopelessly inadequate. I worked with Eddie. He was the bus driver for the children in our class. Everyday was always such a joy to see him and share our hellos. I just loved so much how he loved ALL of the children and showered them with it every single day. I'll never forget one day one of the children in our class of 3 and 4 year olds, was over the moon sooo excited because Eddie knowing how much he loved the bus ride, took it upon himself at home coming across a small bus picture, thoughtfully cut it out and scotch taped it later to the child's little plastic pencil box before school. I will NEVER forget when I first opened the door to the child how he shrieked BUS!!!!! so proud holding it high in the air to show me with this ear to ear grin and uncontrollable joy sooo excited! That priceless picture in my soul along with the daily memories of the continuous thoughtfulness of Eddie for all, I will gratefully enjoy and take to my own grave. Deepest heartfelt sympathy to Eddie's family and all who love him. Warmest hugs.

I remember Eddie when I first started working for Easterseals in 1990. He always came into the office to say hello and tell a story (joke) or two. He was so wonderful to all the children and made them laugh!. The world was a better place with Eddie it in. Condolences to his family and friends. He was a sweet and gentle soul.

Belinda - you and Eddie gave me some wonderful childhood memories. Your love and smiles always made me feel special. And when you came to visit me at my house - what a wonderful surprise that was, so many years later.
I'm so sorry to hear of Eddie's passing - may all those wonderful years together help sustain you and your family in the coming days.

Eddie was a wonderful person. He drove special needs children to school for years in Manchester and he was so kind to them. Yes, he gave away chips to the kids! The staff always loved to chat with Eddie Spaghetti! He will be missed. He made a huge impact on the children of Manchester. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss, Belinda. You and I only met once, but I used to visit Eddie at Hanover Hill. I would read to him from his Bible readings book, and it seemed to help him. I am grateful I got to see every week.
