Florence Bernard Obituary
Born in Manchester, NH on April 16th, 1939, to Roger and Risida (Lemire) Roux, she graduated from St. George High School for girls. Florence was predeceased by her parents, her son Douglas, and her sister Helen Biler. She leaves behind her husband David of 63 years, daughter Mellisa Bernard of Brandon, FL, sisters Pauline Boudreau of Manchester, Lucille Baillie of Vail, AZ, Kelly Jackman of Scottsdale, AZ, and several nieces and nephews.
Flo's hobbies included indoor and outdoor flowers whether painting, nurturing, arranging, or painting them on glass vases. She enjoyed collecting paperweights with her friends and was a past member of the New England paperweight society. Flo also was a former member of the Manchester Kiwanis Club where she enjoyed working on various fund-raising projects.
Per Flo's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the Staff members of The Inn at Deerfield for all of their hard work, compassion, and kindness.
In honor of Flo's memory, donations can be made to The Inn at Deerfield (a non-profit home specializing in dementia care) located on 34 Ridge Road in Deerfield, NH 03037.

Flo was our neighbor for years. She was a ver kind person that always greeted you with a smile. I remember watching her in her yard while caring for her many beautiful plants. She will be missed very much by us.

I have some very nice memories of Mrs. Bernard when I was a young girl and would hang out with Missy. She was always so kind to me. Condolences to Missy, her Dad and family.
