SEABROOK -- Frederick F. Bobola, 83, formerly of Dracut, Mass., died Feb. 23, 2010, at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, following a brief illness.
He was born in Lowell, Mass., Aug. 20, 1926, to Stanley and Victoria (Adamowski) Bobola. He received his education in Lowell schools and he attended St. Patrick Grammar School.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He also served in the U.S. Army.
He was employed for many years as a corrections officer by MCI Concord, in Concord, Mass. After retirement he was the manager of the Pulaski Club and then the Yorick Club, both in Lowell, Mass. He was a lifetime member of the Polish American Veterans Club in Lowell, the Haverhill Elks Lodge 165 and The Single Life.
In his free time he enjoyed spending time at the beach and gardening.
Family members include three children, Michael F. Bobola of Acton, Calif., Cynthia B. Dennis of Goffstownand Suzanne M. Bobola of Dracut, Mass.; three grandchildren; his companion, Grace Nelan of Seabrook; and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Friends may call at Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, Mass., Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, High Street, Lowell, Mass. Spring burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell.

Hi Grace my sympathies to you and Fred's family. I am a former member of TSl and had known Fred for many years. He was a great dancer and a friend to every one.
