well there is no way to really describe my pepere other then...my pepere. He was one man who was very oringinal. Pepere or should i say "super pep" was always there if anyone needed him and he was the only man i knew of that would make fun of his grandchildren by stealing dolls at christmas for fun or singing songs in the morrning when we slept over. I dont think anyone can forget his ugly socks at christmas or his gag gifts between him and Auntie Em. I really miss him but i know he isn't far and he will always stay in my heart.

With lots of memories to remember my wonderful Pepere by, I will never forget the laughs and great times we spent together. Times like when we went to Canada and Pepere handed me chocolate that looked like cow poop and then started eating it and told me it was real cow poop. And when he tried to teach me french the only line I learned was "Mon Pepere est et coocoo". with this I will always love my Pepere

I will always remember the memories that I have had with my super pep. And how he would always make me laugh. He would always be happiest when his family was around. Now I know that he is in a wonderful place free of pain. I will always miss my super pep.

When I entered Gerry's house 27 years ago, I was greeted by my girlfriend, her mother and I knew from the warning I received prior, that when I turned the corner of the kitchen to the dining room I would meet a man that would look me over and judge me immediately based on the questions he was about to ask.
As I sat there with an eight year old boy playing coleco football next to me on the couch, three women quietly staring and wondering if this guy will “pass the test” and a man with one thing on his mind….his daughter’s happiness, I knew it would be a long night! Well it’s been a long 27 years and I can say I am glad I passed that test and was able to sit next to him for so many years.
Gerry was my friend as well as a father to me and when his daughter took my name and became a Kirouac, I became a Blanchette that same day. I will forever be thankful for all the times we spent together and will continue to sit by his side as well as his family’s

I don't know where to start. Through the years that I have known Gerry he has always made me laugh, made me feel welcome, and made me feel like a part of the Blanchette family. I think he had a special way of making everyone he knew feel special. I loved listening to Emily's animated stories about the first time she met Gerry and I loved watching Gerry and Claudette together. I hope when I have been married for that many years that I still share the closeness and love that you could see whenever they were together. I will always remeber Gerry in my heart and know that he is in a better place.

To All his Loved One's, Our Deepest Condolences. Gerry's passing is a great loss to anyone who met him. I will always remember Gerry's look he gave me the day we all went out on the 4-wheelers & we stopped by a pond for lunch, I went put chapstick on or eat my sandwich, (can't remember which one) & proceeded to smash it into my Full-faced helmet i was still wearing..quickly glanced around to see if anyone saw the Stupid move.. Yup, there was Gerry..w/in seconds EVERYONE KNEW & We all had a good laugh. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Gerry. God Bless You All- Love,

I could not of asked for a more wonderful father-in-law. He treated me like his own from the first time we met. He always made me laugh, he always gave me good advice, he was always there for me, he was a wonderful father and grandfather. Claudette and Gerry set an example for the true meaning of marriage. Their example of love is spread through their family and friends you can't miss it.
I will miss him greatly but will cherish the wonderful memories we shared.
God bless you

Dear Claudette: On behalf of your classmates, Class of '63, I extend our deepest sympathy at the loss of your dear husband. It sounds like he was a much-loved family man, and 65 is just too young. Please know that my personal prayers are with you as you deal with this terrible loss. Shirley (Mitchell) Delacoe, and the Class of 1963, MMHS

With 30+ years of friendship I have great memories of adventures with Gerry so numerous I could write a book. Believe me none were ever boring or lackluster and when the adventure was over he couldn't wait to get back to see his family.
He told me many times that when he was gone he wanted no one to grieve but to remember the good times with him. God Bless.
