Gerald Lambert Obituary

Gerald J. Lambert, 81, of Manchester, NH, passed away May 4, 2021, peacefully at his home.

Born in Manchester, NH, on January 5, 1940, he was the son of Rosario and Yvonne (Morin) Lambert. He was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.

Known to all as Jerry, he graduated from Bishop Bradley High School, Class of '58. Jerry went on to serve with the United States Air Force; after his service, he returned home to NH with his new wife, Linda. Jerry went on to work for Associated Grocers of New England for the next 42 years until his retirement.

Devoted to his faith, he was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church and will be remembered as a gentle, caring, and active member of the Manchester community. Jerry always supported his children and their sports, coaching many south-end teams in the late '70s. He enjoyed spending time at casinos and playing cards with friends. He will be deeply missed, and his memory held close in our hearts always.

Family members include his beloved wife of fifty-eight years, Linda (Mattimore) Lambert; a daughter, Michelle Lambert and her partner, Scott Rienert, both of Manchester; four grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Connor, and Rowan; two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Sonya; a sister, Claire Duhaime of Manchester; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Patrick Lambert.

Services: A graveside service with military honors will take place Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 1:30 PM in New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.

The Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH, is in charge of the arrangements.

Uncle Jerry was very instrumental in my up-bringing, he loved kids...which I was a recipient of that love. Both he and Aunt Linda would plan thing for all her nieces and nephews when they came to visit...kind, nurturing, and caring do not do justice to my rememberances. RIP Uncle Jerry...
