Gregory Shost Obituary
Born in Ketchikan, Alaska, on May 8, 1947, he was the son of Stephan and Gayle (Whipple) Shost.
.
SERVICES: Calling hours are Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Connor- Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union St., corner of Concord Street, Manchester.
The funeral service will be held Friday at noon in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Bedford.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or to Tufts Animal Hospital, North Grafton, MA.

Please accept my condolences upon Gregory's passing. He was certainly a warm and gentle man. We both shared the love of animals. He will be missed, but the world was a richer place for his having lived here.

Dear Carolyn, I've been living in Stratham for the past 9 years but think of you and all my other Manchester friends often. To Greg's Family I extend my sincere sympathy. I had a quick 10 minute lunch break with Greg on Monday at LHS. We chatted about students and classes. When Greg showed up in a classroom with me, I considered him a gift! I will miss his cheeriness and helpfulness as will sooooo many others. He made a difference a positive difference in so many ways in so many lives. Mine was definitely better for having known him... He will be remembered with love. Rest in Peace my friend!... Mother Goose (this is what all the students call me and Greg did too!)

To all the Shost family:
I was so saddened to hear of Greg's passing. I will always remember him at GHS, but especially on the varsity basketball team. Mr. K spoke so highly of him and what an inspiration he was for the team; always trying to cheer them on and never giving up. That was Greg; he never gave up!
