Helen F. Abbott

MOULTONBOROUGH - Helen Faye (Johnson) Abbott, 82, of Moultonborough, and formerly of Sutton, Mass., passed away peacefully on May 15, 2014. She was surrounded by her cherished family and passed into eternal peace in her home, which she dearly loved.For nearly 63 years, Helen was the beloved wife of Dr. Richard Abbott. She was an amazing Mom to Deborah Holmgren and her husband Henry of Worcester, Mass., Scott Abbott of Morrisville, Vt., and Lynne Francolini of Millbury, Mass., and an adored grandmother to Jonathan Maynard, Christopher Maynard and Renee Francolini. She is also survived by brothers Paul Johnson and his partner, David Johnson and his wife, Donna Theriault and her husband, three nieces that she thought of as daughters, Coleen Sorensen, Maureen Chumsae, and Kathy Harris, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn (Faulkner) Johnson Day, Allan Johnson; her sister, Nancy Renaud; and her son, Richard J. Abbott, Jr. She also leaves her much loved furry friends, Josh, Millie and Roxie.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 22 at 3 p.m. at the Moultonborough United Methodist Church; Route 25, Moultonborough. Burial will be private in Holland Hill Cemetery, Moultonborough.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to Central NH VNA & Hospice; 780 N.
