James Masingill Obituary

James Mattison Masingill, 53, of Bow, NH, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, his 26th wedding anniversary, at a beautiful Caribbean beach oasis following a courageous battle with ALS. He was surrounded by his loving wife, family, and friends.

Born on June 8, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, he was the son of the late Laura(Stutzman) and Leonidas Masingill. Jamey attended high school in East Brunswick, NJ, and graduated with a business degree from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ in 1986. For the last 29 years, Jamey and Staci have proudly called New Hampshire their home. He had a long and successful career as an executive in the insurance industry, most recently with Markel Corporation. One of Jamey's greatest achievements was his depth and breadth of friendships. His friends will remember his quick wit, contagious smile, and his gregarious personality. A proud Patriots fan, his passions included; politics, boating, skiing, breweries, soccer and reading.

Jamey was a proud and devoted husband and father. Staci was his rock and inspiration for all things in life. His two greatest sources of pride were his kids, Megan, who graduated from Bentley University, and is attending law school at American University; and his son Ryan, who just graduated from Bow High School and will be attending Plymouth State University in the fall. They were the light of his life!

Surviving members of his family are his wife, Stacia; daughter Megan, and son Ryan; Beloved Step Mother Joanne; brothers, Jeff (and Beth), Greg (and Cindy), Matt, (and Danique); Sister in law, Kim (and Phil); Nephews Scot, Grant, Aiden, and Collin.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Jamey's life July 8, 2017, at the Inn on Newfound Lake, 1030 Mayhew Turnpike, Bridgewater, NH. Service starts at 5pm with celebration activities to immediately follow.

In keeping with Jamey's loving and generous spirit please consider making a donation to Camp Allen, http://campallennh.org and/or ALS association, Northern New England chapter.
