Jason Moreau Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Jason Dallas Moreau, 26, of Nashua, NH, who left us unexpectedly on September 29, 2025.

Born on December 5, 1998, in Waltham, MA, Jason lived in Newton until moving to Fremont, NH, in third grade. Most recently, he was proud and excited to move into his first apartment in Nashua with close friends.

Jason had a gentle spirit and a creative heart. He loved music-especially playing his guitar-photography, and movies, particularly anything from A24, with The Lighthouse holding a special place in his heart. Whether watching films, writing a song, or exploring the outdoors with his camera by his side, he embraced the world with curiosity and sincerity.

To know Jason was to know kindness, loyalty, and generosity. He had a way of making people feel loved without saying a word-whether through a quiet smile, a shared song, or simply his steady presence. His creativity shone through in everything he did, and his dry sense of humor and gentle nature made him a treasured son, brother, grandson, and friend.

He graduated from Sanborn Regional High School in 2017 and later worked in Manchester at Velcro USA. Beyond milestones, it was his warmth and compassion that defined him. While Jason struggled with depression, his courage, openness, and resilience remain an inspiration to those who loved him.

He is survived by his parents, Jennifer Rohn (née Gentile) and Jason Charles Moreau ("Rooster"); his stepfather, Jeremy Rohn; his siblings, Emily Conte (Edward Aybar), Parker Rohn, and Freya Rohn; his grandparents, Patti (née Storer) and David Gentile, and Mary Moreau (née Marchione); and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his uncle, Christopher Gentile, and grandfather, Charles Moreau.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. at Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping Street, Raymond, NH. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond, NH, followed by a burial at Leavitt Cemetery in Fremont, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Jason's memory to MusiCares, honoring his passions and spirit.
