Jessica Forbes Obituary
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of William J. and Doreen D. (Violette) Forbes. Raised and educated in Everett, MA. Jessica was a graduate of Stonehill College, where she majored in English. Following graduation, Jessica relocated to New Hampshire to be closer to her family. Jessica first laid roots in New Hampshire by working at the Manchester Police Department as an administrative assistant in the Domestic Violence Unit. Later, she spent 6 years in Concord working for Granite State Independent Living, in the Human Resource Department assisting the elderly and persons with disabilities to lead more independent lives.
A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Jessica's family was paramount in her life. She cherished time spent with her three adored nephews. Children as well as adults were drawn to her gentle demeanor and brilliant smile. Jessica had the most memorable smile that could bring sunshine to the cloudiest of days. Jessica will be best remembered for her resilient spirit, generous heart and abounding strength.
Jessica is survived by her parents, William and Doreen Forbes of Hooksett; two brothers, Stephen Forbes and wife Adrianne, and Derek Forbes and wife Sarah; three nephews, Lucas, Logan, and Aaron; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many dear friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium on Sunday, April 30, from 3:00 to 7:00P.M. Her Funeral Service will be held at the Phaneuf Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, at 10:00A.M. Followed by her Committal Service at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH. To honor her vibrant spirit, Jessica requests attendees wear bright colors to the services. Dear Jessica, Parting is such sweet sorrow. You had every endearing quality ever dreamed of. The words brave, strong, inspirational, have been used a million times to describe Jess, they are true, but they all fall short. There are no words I can think of that are grand enough to describe the beauty of her heart and soul. Her compassion, and empathy for others was inconceivable.... she worried so much about everyone else, despite her own battles. There was no limit to the size of her heart, or her love for her family and friends. Jessica will be missed so much, by so many, always. I see the beautiful flowers and trees blooming, and I feel bad she is no longer here to see them; then I hear her sweet and gentle voice in my mind telling me that no place could be more beautiful and serine than where she lives now. She no longer lives in constant pain, her body has no limits, she is free. Jessica no longer must live life singing in the rain, now she is dancing in the sun.

Jessica's journey has ended and God has called her home. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to call her "friend". Jess had the most contagious laugh and brilliant smile. She had an amazing impact on my life. She taught me patience and tolerance. Jess never complained. She made this world a better place. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

My first memory of her is in a two leg cast. So young and not knowing what normal was. She was very happy despite her condition. i lost contact through many years. One day i seen her again, she said be happy Tom because you are special. Those words inspired to keep strong through the worst of depression. knowing what she faced everyday has helped me to be a better man. I love you jessica!
