Jessie Crenshaw Obituary

NASHUA -- Jessie June (Sawyer) Crenshaw, 81, Aug. 3, 2008, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, with her family by her side, after a brief illness.

She was born in Revere, Mass., June 22, 1927.

Mrs. Crenshaw married her late husband Lee on June 22, 1946, and lived in Malden, Mass., for more than 45 years, raising her family, before moving to Merrimack.

She was an active member of the Merrimack Senior Citizen Club and served as its travel coordinator. She also played in the Merrimack Senior Band, traveling to play several nursing homes and senior centers in the Nashua area.

She moved to Concord in 2000 and most recently lived in Nashua. She enjoyed traveling, bingo, and especially spending time with her family.

IN HER LIFE: Jessie is survived by her four sons and daughters in law, William and Kathleen Crenshaw of Merrimack, James and Lynne Crenshaw of Mesa, Ariz., Richard and Debbie Crenshaw of Derry, and Paul and Angela Crenshaw of Marksville, La., her daughter and son-in-law Linda (Crenshaw-DeLorey) and William Dudley, of Hudson; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters Esther Nadeau of Malden, Mass., and Ann Maccioli of Concord.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m at the Rivet Funeral home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack. A funeral service is Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
