Joseph "Joe" G. Fremeau, 66, of Manchester, NH, died December 17, 2021, after a period of declining health.

Joe also took immense joy in attending his children's basketball games throughout their playing careers. He was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, as he left an indelible mark on every single life that he touched. Joe will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.

Dear Connie and family - I just heard of Joe's passing and am so very, very sad. Joe was a wonderful person. We often chatted before or after work on Stark Street, and he would come into City Hall often on business. I have missed seeing him since he closed his business. He would always ask about my son and I would always ask about Whitney as they were classmates at Central HS. I will always remember Joe as being a very kind and calm person. He will be missed by many people....Pamela Goucher

Connie, Joey and Whitney, We are all so shocked and deeply sorry for your loss- and so grateful to have crossed paths during our Smyth Rd and youth sports years with such a devoted (and infinitely proud) husband and father, a warm and funny bleacher buddy, and such an extraordinary gentleman. His fine qualities surely live on in all of you, Makenzie, and the many family and friends who love him. It's beautiful that his funeral was the day after winter solstice, when light overcomes darkness. God bless all of you.

Dear Mike and Brian:
So sorry to hear about Joe's passing. I remember him well from our THS days and later while your firm helped me unload a distressed property. Joe was a fine athlete and an even better man. My late father had the chance to work with him years ago and spoke highly of him. While we can take comfort that Joe's at peace, much sympathy is due to his family. Let's all keep the faith.

Connie & Family,

I have had the great pleasure and privilege of knowing joe for almost all of my 30 plus years as an appraiser in New Hampshire. Joe is one of the few appraisers who is most respected by all in the state and by me personally. His willingness and generosity to share information and discuss those odd situations with me will truly be missed. I have a great respect for Joe and will miss him terribly. He was a gracious and kind man which extended well beyond the bounds of our profession. I am proud to call him an esteemed colleague and friend in this business. My prayers go out to you and your entire family through this very trying time. May his memory be eternal

Mike, and Brian, the loss of your big Brother Joey was hard news to hear this past week. I last saw him at Michael’s graduation party at the beach house. We talked a little about old times. I shook his hand and headed out with a smile on my face from sharing those memories. He was a Beach friend to me growing up. He was a big part of your family and the whole beach gang. This week we have to say good bye and it is now more important than ever to hold on to the fun loving times shared, the beach touch football games, basket ball games and swimming on Jenness Beach that was a bond between us all. In hard times like these, God can give us healing from sorrow through sharing and reliving strong happy memories. I know I will be thinking of him this week with fondness and smiling, while remembering his big wide smile, along with the times I worked as a bus boy at the Dunes while he was a bartender upstairs, the fun we had running around that place will always hold a spot in my chain of memories of the Jenness Beach Crew. God now holds him and he is anew in his love and smiling down on us all from above. Joe you were a special guy with Gifts you shared with those around you. You will be missed, and until we meet again, I know you walk a beach somewhere smiling. John Boyd
