Joseph Gannon Obituary

Joseph P. Gannon, age 93, of Sandown, NH and Naples, FL, formerly of Concord, MA, died on August 15, 2017. He was an Army Air Force combat veteran of WWII. Beloved husband for nearly 70 years of Rosemary (Murphy) Gannon. Devoted father of Joseph Gannon and his wife Kathleen of Naples, FL, Anne Scheer and her husband Marc of Concord, NH, Daniel Gannon and his wife Beth of Sandown, NH, and Senator Bill Gannon and his wife Janice of Sandown, NH. Also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brother, John Francis Gannon and his wife Shirley, formerly of Norwood; his sister, Rosemarie Gannon of Tampa, FL; and dozens of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 18, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. in the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord, MA, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish, Monument Square, Concord, MA. My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. Psalms 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And of because of special mightiness they are 80 years. Very special indeed!

We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was always so pleasant and we enjoyed seeing him here at the Town Hall in Sandown. He will surely be missed and our condolences and thoughts and prayers to the family.
