Lawrence James Anctil

Lawrence J. Anctil (1950-2018) died peacefully at his home in Venice, Florida on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Larry was the son of the late Laurent and Mary Anctil. Larry was raised in Manchester, New Hampshire and went on to enlist in the United States Army where he served a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968-69 and was honorably discharged. He retired from a 33 year career at the United States Postal Service and moved to Venice, Florida. Upon retirement his greatest joys were volunteering with his pet therapy dog Darla and spending time with his four grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Karen; his eldest son Jason and his wife Young ah, grandson Dylan and granddaughter Mia; middle son Ian and his wife Kimberly, and two granddaughters Nadia and Victoria; Youngest son Benjamin; his eldest sister Sheila Peters and her children William and Elizabeth Peters; and youngest sister Patricia Bowers and her daughter Amanda Burr. He was predeceased by his brother Steven and brother Robert who is survived by his daughter Kelly Anctil. Memorial Services are to be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Parish on 575 Candia Rd. Manchester, NH 03109.
