Lorraine Duval Obituary

Lorraine Therese Duval, 69, passed away on September 26, 2025. Born on July 13, 1956, in Manchester, New Hampshire, she lived a life marked by resilience, independence, and a vibrant spirit.

Lorraine began her education at Ste Marie's Catholic School and continued there until its closure after her junior year. She completed her high school education at West High School in Manchester. Her professional journey included many years of dedicated service at REI Associates before she took the bold step of launching her own bookkeeping business-a testament to her entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethic.

She was known for her energetic spirit and quick wit. Qualities that made her a joy to be around and left lasting impressions on those fortunate enough to share in her company. Lorraine had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found peace and joy in nature. She especially loved the ocean air and could often be found walking through Portsmouth or riding her bike along the scenic coasts of Hampton and Rye Beaches.

Lorraine's greatest pride was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Jennifer Sanborn of Contoocook and Amber Bergeron and husband Eric of Francestown. Her granddaughters, Katelyn Bouchard and Sadie Bergeron, brought immense joy to her life.

She also leaves behind her sister Diane Pellerin; brothers Denis Duval and wife Barbara, and Norm Duval and wife Michele; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.

Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Therese (Fournier) Duval, and by her brother Robert Duval.
