Lorraine Sevigny Obituary

Lorraine Sevigny (Bergeron), 88, of Manchester, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on June 6 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was predeceased by her brother Maurice Bergeron and is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Raymond, and children Cheryl-Anne Joyal and her husband Roger, Kenneth Sevigny and his wife Nancy and Marc Sevigny and his spouse Mark Mikitarian and her 5 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Lorraine was born in Manchester, the daughter of the late William and Bernadette (Bisson) Bergeron in Manchester's Rimmon Heights, and was a long-term parishioner at Ste. Jean-Baptiste on Manchester's West Side and graduated from Ste. Marie's High School. She met her husband of 69 years in Manchester where they raised their family and together operated a local television sales and service business.

Lorraine and Ray retired to Florida's Gulf Coast, then returned to Manchester, the city they felt most connected to. Lorraine enjoyed visits to Lake Massabesic, the coast, the lakes region of New Hampshire and socializing with friends. She was an avid card player and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

A private memorial service was held in her honor for the immediate family.
