Mabel LaFrambois Obituary
Mabel was born on June 5, 1920 to George A. And Harriet E. Keniston Palmer in Auburn, NH.
She attended Coe-Brown Academy in Northwood, N.H. And Keene Teachers College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree in June of 1942.
Mabel started teaching in Stoddard, N.H, a one room school house with a total of 18 children in all eight grades, moving to the Northwood Elementary School and after eleven years was hired to teach 4th grade at the McClelland School in Farmington, NH until her retirement in 1983.
Mabel met and married Gordon LaFrambois of Epping, NH, in December of 1950 and were married 46 years until Gordon's death in 1996.
Mabel and Gordon lived in Epsom until her retirement, spending winters in Ocala FL, and returning to stay for the summer at the camp ground on Mountain Road in Epsom. On the death of her husband Gordon in 1996, Mabel moved in with her eldest daughter Mabel in Latrobe PA and lived there until the time of her passing.
Mabel will forever be missed by her children, Mabel O'Neil-Hall and husband Harry of Latrobe, PA, Robert E. LaFrambois and wife Ling of Deerfield, NH, Pamela A. Clark and husband Richard of Northwood, NH, and her brother, Robert C. Palmer Sr. Of Titusville, Fl and Epsom, NH as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mabel was predeceased by her husband Gordon, her sisters Laura Palmer, Ella Blodgett, Mildred Ames and brothers Fredrick and George Palmer.
Mabel is to be cremated and interred in the McClary Cemetery on Center Hill Road in Epsom, NH later this fall.-Love lasts forever

i had mrs. laframbois in the 6th grade at northwood ridge school. a good teacher, loved her handwriting. i am sure she will be missed by all her family. sincerely, margaret johnson metcalf, piermont, n.h.
