I'm brokenhearted by the loss of "Our Mary". She will never be forgotten by so many people. She was a mighty force in a tiny body. God broke the mold when He made her. She loved her kids and her friends in recovery fiercely. She left a legacy that few leave, a faithful woman who saved others. I miss her so much!

I will miss my lifelong friend. We got together for dinner last year after not seeing each other for a long time and hers was the kind of friendship that doesn't wan with time.

My condolences to Mary's family. I have to say that even though we didn't see each other often, when we did we ALWAYS made a scene! We would greet each other with a big YAHOOZIE, then Mary would yell "KIMMIE, KIMMIE" the I would yell "MARY, MARY". It was our silly little thing. Once many years ago my family had day at Bryan & Anna's (they are my brother & sister-in-law) and Mary was making the homemade gravy and after dinner we were chatting and I had said that I ONLY had "90" days AGAIN and my husband said "I ONLY have 60 days" AGAIN. Mary spun around and anyone who knows her knew how stern she could be and said to us "DON'T EVER SAY ONLY OR AGAIN". "EVERY DAY IS AN ACHIEVEMENT AND EVEN IF YOU ARE COMING BACK YOU BOTH KEEP TRYING" and don't EVER give up. I looked at her and then gave her a hug. This is a woman I admire, a woman in recovery with self respect and dignity and THAT I KNEW IS WHAT I WANTED. Mary is my gift and always will be. Whoo Hoo to you MARY, please watch over us. I Love you Kimmie
